ELIGIBILITY: The How Will You GoPro HD HERO Giveaway (the “Promotion”) is open only to legal residents of the United States (excluding the U.S. Territories and Possessions) who (i) are 18 years of age or older at the start of the Entry Period, (ii) are not employees of Sponsor, GoPro, or of its’ parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, dealers, vendors, or advertising, marketing, public relations and promotion agencies, or such employees’ immediate family or household members. IF YOU DO NOT MEET THESE REQUIREMENTS, YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO ENTER OR WIN A PRIZE IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES.
By entering the Promotion, entrants and winners agree to accept and be bound by all terms of these Official Rules and Regulations (the “Official Rules”). Sponsor reserves the right to modify, amend or supplement these Official Rules without notice at anytime in GoPro’s sole discretion. The Promotion is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Some restrictions apply. Void wherever prohibited or restricted by law and outside of eligibility area, as stated in these Official Rules.
DISCLAIMER: Released Parties are not responsible for: (a) lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, stolen, misdirected, undelivered or garbled entries; (b) lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or © other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Promotion, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prizes or in any Sweepstakes-related materials. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes. Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to participants’ or to any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in this Promotion.
PROMOTION PERIOD: The Promotion begins at 12:01 AM Pacific Time (“PT”) on March 7, 2010 and ends at 11:59:59 PM PT on March 31, 2010 (“Entry Period”).
HOW TO ENTER: During the Entry Period, you can enter the promotion through the How Will You GoPro HD HERO Giveaway Wildfire application. To find the application, follow the instructions on the GoPro website at

Entrants whose Complete Entry includes sexually suggestive, pornographic, vulgar, or otherwise objectionable content as determined by GoPro will be declared ineligible for Prize Drawings, Bonus Prize Drawings & Contests.
Prize Drawings – Entrants may enter the promotion by answering the required questions on the entry form. If the entrant completes all required questions on the entry form (a “Complete Entry”), the Entrant’s Complete Entry will be included in the Prize Drawing, as described below.
Bonus Prize Drawings – There are two ways for Entrants to be included in the drawing for the Bonus Prizes:
(i) Fans of GoPro who follow the instructions within the Wildfire application to Invite Friends will be included in the drawing for a Bonus Prize (“Bonus Prize Entries"), as described below (the “Fan Bonus Prize”), and
(ii) Followers of the Official GoPro Twitter page, Twitter.com/GoPro_News, that send a Tweet including the Twitter hashtags “#gopro” AND “#iwillgopro” during the Entry Period will be included in the drawing for a Bonus Prize, as described below (the “Follower Bonus Prize”).
All entries must be submitted and Complete Entries received during the Entry Period in order to be included in the Prize Drawing and Bonus Prize Drawings. Only one entry per person for the Prize Drawing and each Bonus Prize Drawings is permitted, and entries in violation of this restriction will be disqualified if detected. Attempts made by the same individual to submit multiple internet entries by using multiple e-mail addresses or otherwise are prohibited and will be disqualified if detected. Use of automated systems to enter is prohibited. In the event of a dispute over the identity of an online entrant, entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the entry. Authorized account holder is defined as the person assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses.
PRIZES: Potential winners of the Promotion will be chosen at random as follows:
A. Week 1 Prize Drawings – During the 7 day period beginning Monday, March 8, 2010 and ending Sunday, March 14, 2009, 1 (1) qualified Entrant will be announced as potential winner of a Prize Drawing, to receive one (1) GoPro HD HERO package that best matches Entrant’s stated activity as submitted in their Completed Entry with an approximate maximum retail value of $299.99, and one (1) additional mounting accessory of Entrant’s choice as submitted in their Completed Entry with an approximate maximum retail value of $39.99;
B. Week 2 Prize Drawing – During the 7 day period beginning Monday, March 15, 2010 and ending Sunday, March 21, 2010, one (1) qualified Entrant will be announced as potential winner of a Prize Drawing to receive one (1) GoPro HD HERO package that best matches Entrant’s stated activity as submitted in their Completed Entry with an approximate maximum retail value of $299.99, and one (1) additional mounting accessory of Entrant’s choice as submitted in their Completed Entry with an approximate maximum retail value of $39.99;
C. Week 3 Prize Drawing – During the 7 day period beginning Monday, March 22, 2010 and ending Sunday, March 29, 2010, one (1) qualified Entrant will be announced as potential winner of a Prize Drawing to receive one (1) GoPro HD HERO package that best matches Entrant’s stated activity as submitted in their Completed Entry with an approximate maximum retail value of $299.99, and one (1) additional mounting accessory of Entrant’s choice as submitted in their Completed Entry with an approximate maximum retail value of $39.99;
D. Week 4 Prize Drawing – During the 7 day period beginning March 25, 2010 and ending March 31 January 7, 2010, three (3) qualified Entrants will be announced as potential winners of a Prize Drawing each to receive one (1) GoPro HD HERO package that best matches Entrant’s stated activity as submitted in their Completed Entry with an approximate maximum retail value of $299.99, and one (1) additional mounting accessory of Entrant’s choice as submitted in their Completed Entry with an approximate maximum retail value of $39.99;
I. Bonus Prize Drawings – During the 3 day period beginning Monday, March 29, 2010 and ending Wednesday, March 31, 2010, 1 (1) qualified Fan Entrant, and 1 (1) qualified Follower Entrants will be announced as potential winners of the Bonus Prize Drawings, each to receive one (1) GoPro HD HERO package with an approximate maximum retail value of $299.99, and one (1) additional mounting accessory of Entrant’s choice as submitted in their Completed Entry with an approximate maximum retail value of $39.99.
The approximate retail value of all prizes awarded during the Promotion is $2039.88.
ODDS OF WINNING: Odds of winning a prize depend on the total number of eligible entrants for the applicable drawings. Nonwinning eligible entrants from one drawing will be included in subsequent drawings for prizes in the Promotion.
ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF ANY PRIZE AS WELL AS ANY COSTS AND EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH ACCEPTANCE AND USE OF A PRIZE ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNERS.
Prizes returned as undeliverable or otherwise not claimed within the time period specified by Sponsor will be forfeited and, at Sponsor’s discretion, awarded to an alternate winner for the drawing at issue. Prizes are not transferable. No substitutions or exchanges (including for cash) of any prizes will be permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) of comparable or greater value for any prize. Limit one prize per household or address. All prizes are awarded “AS IS” and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied, (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose). All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
DETERMINATION OF WINNERS: Sponsor shall hold a random drawing to determine the winners for the weekly Prize Drawings listed above on Friday morning of the corresponding week between the hours of 9 AM PT & 12 PM PT. Each potential winner will be announced in accordance with Section 5 above by announcing the first name of the Entrant, the Entrant’s stated type of HD HERO, the Entrant’s Fan and/or Follower status, and the Entrant’s Twitter handle (if submitted) associated with the Entrant’s Completed Entry on the following website locations:

Additionally, potential winners will be notified by e-mail within ten (10) days thereafter.
To claim a prize, potential winners should follow the instructions contained in their email notification. Entrants whose names are posted on the website as potential winners are not eligible to receive a prize until the verification process has been completed and they have complied with all requirements imposed on winners set forth herein. Each Entrant can only win two (2) prizes during the Promotion.
AFFADAVIT & RELEASE: As a condition of being awarded any prize, potential winners may be required to execute and deliver to Sponsor within a specified time period an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release of Liability and, unless prohibited by law, Publicity. Failure to do so within the time period specified or noncompliance with these Official Rules will result in disqualification and Sponsor may, at its discretion, award the prize to an alternate winner for the drawing at issue.
COLLECTION OF INFORMATION: The information necessary to operate the Promotion was collected by Sponsor at the time that each Eligible Entrant submitted their Complete Entry, and without limiting Sponsor’s rights under its privacy policies with regards to its use of the information, will be used to contact you specifically for operation of the Promotion. If Entrant submitted a request to receive the GoPro Newsletter with the Completed Entry form, such information will be used to fulfill Entrant’s request. Information collected in connection with the Promotion will otherwise be collected in accordance with Sponsor’s privacy policy, available at http://www.goprocamera.com/privacy. By agreeing to these Official Rules, you are also agreeing to the terms of Sponsor’s privacy policy.
GENERAL RELEASE: By participating, eligible individuals agree to release and hold harmless Released Parties from any liability whatsoever, and waive any and all causes of action, related to any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Sweepstakes or delivery, misdelivery, acceptance, possession, use of or inability to use any prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses and damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light, whether intentional or unintentional), whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or other theory.
WINNERS LIST, RULES REQUEST: For a copy of the winners list, send a stamped, self-addressed, business-size envelope after April 1, 2010 and before October 30, 2010 to Sponsor at the following address: “How Will You GoPro HD HERO Giveaway -Winners List," c/o GoPro, 2450 Cabrillo Hwy S, Suite 250, Half Moon Bay, CA 94019. To obtain a copy of these rules, send a stamped, self-addressed business-size envelope to Sponsor at the following address: “How Will You GoPro HD HERO Giveaway –Rules Request," c/o GoPro, 2450 Cabrillo Hwy S, Suite 250, Half Moon Bay, CA 94019. Residents of WA and VT may omit return postage on rules requests.

MISCELLANEOUS: The Promotion and these Official Rules will be governed, construed and interpreted under the laws of the United States. Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Sponsor and judges, which are final and binding in all respects. Sponsor reserves the right to change these Official Rules at any time, in its sole discretion, and to suspend or cancel the Promotion or any entrant’s participation in the Promotion should viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention or other causes affect the administration, security or proper play of the Promotion or Sponsor otherwise becomes (as determined in its sole discretion) incapable of running the Promotion as planned. If terminated, Sponsor may, at its discretion, select the potential winner(s) for the Promotion and/or drawing at issue from all eligible, non-suspect entries received for that Promotion and/or drawing prior to action taken or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor. Entrants who violate these Official Rules, tamper with the operation of the Promotion or engage in any conduct that is detrimental or unfair to Sponsor, the Promotion or any other entrant (in each case as determined in Sponsor’s sole discretion) are subject to disqualification from entry into the Promotion. Sponsor reserves the right to lock out persons whose eligibility is in question or who have been disqualified or are otherwise ineligible to enter the Promotion.
